In honor of Feed A Rescue Week

In honor of “National Feed a Rescue Week,” For The Love Of Alex is celebrating all the pets you have helped feed. Because of you, these precious fur babies got the prescription food they desperately needed to live a good quality of life.

Here are some of the pets you have helped and are helping feed.

Kilo had an Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) procedure done to remove a urinary obstruction, however to prevent future blockages he needs a special prescription diet food that costs over $100.00 a month. Read more about Kilo here.

Miko's mom needs help with the expensive prescription diet Miko needs to treat his Feline Idiopathic Cystitis condition, which causes painful inflammation of the bladder. The cost for Miko's prescription diet is $110.00 a month. Read more about Miko here.

Khaleesi lost a lot of weight over 7 months, bloodwork confirmed Khaleesi has Diabetes and will need insulin and a prescription diet food for the rest of her life. Read more about Khaleesi here.

Mokey the California Cat: Mokey had a urinary blockage and had emergency surgery to remove it. Mokey will be on a special prescription diet for the rest of his life to prevent future blockages. Read more about Mokey here.

Tito the New York Pug. Tito had a urinary obstruction and had surgery to remove painful bladder stones. Tito had a set back and was diagnosed with a stubborn urinary tract infection. With medication and an expensive prescription diet, Tito can live a normal life. Read more about Tito here.

Sasha’s The New Hampshire Kitty. Beautiful Sasha requires expensive prescription food as she is highly allergic to regular cat food. Without this food Sasha’s quality of life would be compromised. Read more about Sasha here.

Zoey the Washington Cat: Zoey was facing Idiopathic Mega colon and needed expensive prescription food to help manage her health condition. Zoey has saved her Mom’s life more than once, and her Mom will do anything to save Zoey’s life now. Read more here about Zoey.
