Good News for Lily!

Lily and her mom have been through a lot, but today they can celebrate some good news.

How it started

We first met Lily and her mom when the cat was facing a serious infection and bladder stones. With the help of donors like you, we were able to fund the surgery she needed. This rambunctious 1-year-old needed to stay quiet after her surgery and not jump or get excited for ten days.

How it's going

When she started feeling better, she got to go outside to enjoy some sun on her fenced-in porch.

Today they received even more reason to celebrate. Lily's liver test came back negative, and she is feeling well and looking good too!

Lily's mom had this to say about her and Lily's experience with For The Love Of Alex:

I have been unemployed since the pandemic started and living on unemployment. I've had two major surgeries, joint replacements in the last two years and missed a lot of work. Lily did need to have her surgery as the diet didn't work and the stones grew. She is recovering, happy, and is loving being on the deck in the sun with me and her sister Rosie.
