Deciding to donate your hard-earned money is personal. You want to support an organization with a mission you believe in, people you can trust, and results you can see. We update our donors regularly on the pets they have personally supported.

We cannot thank you enough for each dollar you donate to For the Love of Alex (FTLOA). You are more than a donor; you are a Life-Saving Angel. Every animal that receives funding from FTLOA will be saved only because of your support.

What will your donation do?

1. Save a pet’s life or improve its quality of life.

2. Help fellow human beings take care of their beloved pets.

3. The more you give, the more pet cases we can take on each week/month/year.

4. Monthly donations mean we do not have to fundraise for every case, which takes time and money.

5. You will feel good that you made a difference to someone who can never repay you.

6. Your donation is tax deductible.

How are we different from other animal charities?

1.  From Day 1, we are personally and professionally involved with every pet and their family that we help.

2.  We communicate with the pet owners, veterinarians, and pharmacies until the pet has been given a clean bill of health.

3.  We pay the veterinarians and pharmacies directly.

4.  To protect our donors’ contributions, we do not give money to individuals or personal fundraisers like GoFundme.

5.  We are not a shelter. These pets have loving homes, and we aim to keep them with their families.

6.  We update our donors regularly on the pets they have personally helped save through social media and email.

 What do we do?

1.  We provide funding for urgent veterinary care.

2.  We prevent unnecessary death or suffering.

3. We provide funding to end economic euthanasia.

4.  We prevent a pet from being surrendered to a shelter due to medical problems.

5.  We relieve a pet owner from mental and financial anguish.
