Update on Sweet Sammy Boy 💙

Sammy had his long-awaited dental surgery on Tuesday; Sammy had a thorough cleaning, and 11 teeth were extracted! Sammy is doing remarkably well post-op; his dad said, "He's more affectionate; he seems so much more confident and happy. I'm super thankful for your organization because I don't know what would have happened if I didn't get your help. No way I could afford that kind of surgery." ❤️ 

Sammy will have a check-up 10 days post-op, and his veterinarian recommends rechecking his urine in 1 month as Sammy's pre-op blood showed a slight elevation in blood sugar levels; however, this could be caused by Sammy's body fighting the infection from his oral disease.

Thank you to our incredible donors who helped with the cost of Sammy's much-needed surgery. Because of you, Sammy is no longer in pain and has a second chance at a long and healthy life. We will have more updates on Sammy soon!
