SURGERY UPDATE ON SWEET JERSEY BOY! π
Jersey, the kitty from Vermont, had extensive dental surgery on Tuesday; he had 11 teeth extracted and a thorough cleaning. Jersey's teeth were worse than expected; however, this surgery will help him stay healthier in the long term.
Jersey is home and doing well, and his furry friend is offering him love and support.
Jersey is in overall good health for a 10-year-old kitty; however, during the pre-surgical examination, his veterinarian found debris in his ears. The cytology confirmed it was a yeast infection that can be treated at home with a medication called Tresaderm.
Jersey's elderly parents could not afford the $1510.12 for his surgery, but thanks to the generous animal lovers who donated, his surgery was made possible!
Jersey's parents said, "He is eating pretty well and seems almost back to his normal self. Thank you so much...from the bottom of our hearts!"
