Pickle had a post-op procedure to remove the surgical pin from her repaired fracture

Pickle had surgery in January; a pin was place to hold her broken bone in place. Pickle made a full recovery. At the time of surgery; the surgeon informed us that the the pin was temporary and will need to be removed 4 months post-op.

Two weeks ago, Pickle had the quick procedure to remove the pin under sedation and an x-ray. Pickle had a recheck appointment and the sutures were removed and her incision area looks great! 🙌

Her mom said, "I can definitely tell the difference with the pin out. She is more active and I feel she is eating more. She just seems happier and her leg doesn't stick our like it was when she walks or lays down."

Every day injured pets are euthanized or surrendered to a shelter because of the cost of urgent veterinary care. Pickle's life was saved because of generous and kind animal lovers who donated. So many more pets like Pickle need our help! 😿
