MANO IS DOING GREAT POST-OP! π»
Full of kitten energy, Mano was zooming around the house when suddenly his dad noticed Mano was not bearing weight on his back right leg. X-rays revealed he had fractured his hip and needed surgery to restore mobility.
Mano's dad could not afford the $1800.00 surgery cost; his only option was to surrender Mano to a shelter if he could not find someone to help. Luckily, Mano's dad found us on Facebook!
Our incredibly kind and generous donors helped pay for Mano's surgery. FHO, or femoral head osteotomy, is a surgical procedure to restore pain-free mobility. The surgery was successful, and Mano is home and doing well. He has to take it easy for several weeks, and his sutures will be removed 10 days post-op.
