Hazel had her 2nd surgery and is doing well.
Hazel had surgery to remove a painful tumor in her ear canal that had grown back in just a few months. The surgery went well, and the veterinary specialist is confident that she got all of the tumors and it will never grow back. Hazel has a slight side effect from the surgery called Horner's syndrome, which causes an elevation of the third eyelid, but it should resolve itself in time. Her mom said she is doing well, Hazel is no longer scratching at her ear, and every day, the paralysis in her eye seems to be improving.
We could not have helped Hazel without the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who donated.
Thank you for saving Hazel!
