Comet had surgery and is doing well!

Comet had surgery to remove 4-6 bladder stones via a surgical procedure known as cystotomy. Comet is home and recovering well. Comet will need a prescription diet for the rest of her kitty cat life to prevent future stones from developing. Her mom said, "She is in good spirits but keeps escaping the cone. I ordered her a body suit and am watching her very closely."

Comet will have a check-up and suture removal in 10 days. Her veterinarian may also recheck her urine if she is still urinating blood. We will have more updates on Comet soon!

Thank you to our wonderful donors for helping this beautiful tabby girl, because of your kindness and generosity Comet will live a long and pain-free life! 😽
