BEAUTIFUL NALA HAD A SLIGHT SETBACK! 🐈‍⬛

We helped Nala a few weeks ago with the cost of her surgery to remove a Digital Squamous Cell Carcinoma tumor that was growing in her paw pad and causing her pain. To ensure the cancer was completely removed, her leg was amputated.

Nala recovered from her surgery and was doing well; however, a few days ago, she started having very loose stools and accidents outside the litter box. A behavior that this floof has never shown before. 🙀

Worried her mom reached back out to us. Her veterinarian recommended a digestive health probiotic supplement to promote intestinal health and balance. (Sometimes stress, dietary changes, and the use of antibiotics can play a factor in unusual bathroom behaviors.)

The good news is Nala loves the supplement that is sprinkled on her food daily. Hopefully, this will cure her digestive imbalance, but to be sure, a sample of her stool has been sent to the laboratory for analysis, we should have the results in a few days. We will have an update on Nala the floof soon!
