AIKO HAD SURGERY AND IS HOME DOING WELL!π½
Aiko, a beautiful snowshoe kitty from Texas, had a tumor on her back right paw pad. The tumor had been rapidly growing since April, and caused Aiko significant pain, making it difficult for her to bear weight on her affected foot.
Aiko's surgery cost was estimated between $1721.75 - $1807.53, sadly, Aiko's low-income mom could not afford it. Luckily, she reached out to us for help. Aiko's surgery went well, one toe bean was amputated so her surgeon could excise the tumor completely.
Aiko is home, her mom said, "She's doing well! She is a bit uncomfortable since she's trying to be active. Once again, thank you for everything. I am very grateful to you guys!" Aiko does not have sutures; her incision was closed with surgical glue; she will have a check-up in 10 days.
