Story

Tiny baby kitten has sustained an injury to her eye, and her veterinarian wants to try a procedure to save her vision. This type of injury is caused mainly by trauma. An ulcer may result from blunt trauma, such as a cat rubbing its eye against a rough surface, a laceration, such as a cat-claw scratch, or contact with a sharp object, such as a thorn. Tiny baby kitten’s mom has no idea how this happened to her little fur baby.

Corneal Flap surgery is not that expensive; the estimate is between $1,223.00 - $1,513.00. However, Tiny baby kittens' mom is elderly and living on a meager income; she is taking care of her granddaughter and cannot afford the surgery. Tiny baby kitten is being treated with antibiotics to prevent the eye from getting infected and pain medication to keep her comfortable.

Tiny baby kitten is only 12 weeks old; her mom found her outside a friend's garage all alone. She was about maybe two weeks old. She took her in and bottle-fed Tiny baby kitten until she was old enough to eat cat food. Tiny baby kitten has been thriving in her new forever home until she became injured. Her mom said, "since the day I found her, she became my "tiny baby kitty" and follows me everywhere. We love her so much!"

Can you help save Tiny baby kitten’s eye?
