Meet Ichi, the beloved Iowa kitty who is feeling very unwell. He's lethargic, barely eating, and struggling to move around. His condition has worsened over just a few weeks, and it's heartbreaking for his mom to see him suffer.
Ichi urgently needs an exam, bloodwork, and x-rays, which his mom's veterinarian estimates will cost $600.00, which doesnβt include any medications or treatments Ichi may need. Unfortunately, this is beyond her means as she lives on just $842.00 a month in disability benefits, which barely covers daily necessities. She applied for CareCredit but was denied, and the veterinarian doesn't accept payments.
Ichi was adopted from a Craigslist ad nine years ago when a family had to rehome him due to unforeseen circumstances. Since then, Ichi has flourished in his forever home, and his mom absolutely adores him. Can you imagine how difficult it is for her to watch her handsome boy suffer, knowing she can't afford to help him?
