Story
Hazel had a painful tumor growing in her ear canal that made her dizzy and affected her balance. Hazel's mom contacted us back in February for help with her surgery cost, and we were able to help. The tumor was successfully removed, a biopsy was performed, and it was not cancerous. However, recently, Hazel started scratching at her ear and shaking her head; her mom could hear fluid rattling in her head.
We paid for a consultation exam with a surgical specialist, who confirmed that the tumor had grown back. We are devastated by this news. πΏ
The veterinary clinic that performed the first surgery was not equipped to perform Hazel's extremely complicated 2nd surgery, so she was referred to a specialist. The specialist surgeon recommends Bulla Osteotomy surgery to prevent the tumor from returning. Surgery has been estimated to be between $4500-$5400! Surgery has been tentatively scheduled for August 8th, as long as we can raise funds.
Donations have declined significantly recently, and we cannot help Hazel unless we raise the total amount before her surgery. This sweet girl has already gone through so much; we cannot turn our back on her now!
